There’s a mind reader inside my PC noviembre 24, 2006

I was snooping around Tonje’s blog when I learned that Windows Media Player has psychic  powers, apparently it can answer whatever question you ask just playing it in shuffle mode with your music library, all you need to do is have a little faith and learn how to interpret the answer (or click play again until you find the answer you like).  I’m going to take the liberty to speal Tonje’s questions. Enjoy.

It was a good start, quoting a guy with license to kill always makes me feel more confident
The next time you stand up in front of a group of people, you’ll say:

Goldfinger, I made a delivery. Where is my money?
(James Bond Theme, Paul Oakenfold)

I don’t drink as much as I used to but WMP apparently knows that I can get pretty friendly when I’m drunk
Your favorite thing to say when drunk is:

Eu quero te provar (I want to taste you)
Sem medo e sem amor (Without fear and without love)
Eu quero te provar (I want to taste you)
(Garota Nacional, Skank)

If you’ve met me, then you know I’m not a morning person, usually I’m 100% operational after noon
When you wake up in the morning, you mutter:
And it’s been awhile
Since I could stand on my own two feet again
And it’s been awhile
Since I could call you
(It’s been a while, Staind)

Setting apart its other connotations, I really like this song… I guess it brings me hope
Your message to the world:
As long as I know how to love I know I’ll be alive
I’ve got all my life to live
I’ve got all my love to give
I will survive
Yeah, yeah
(I will survive, Cake)

Another hit by WMP, I listen to this song in my head when I walk in slow motion
Your life’s soundtrack:
One more time
We gonna celebrate
Oh yeah, all right
Don’t stop dancing
(One more time, Daft Punk)

It’s a shame that I’d be alone when I shout this to the world
If you found yourself lost on a deserted island, you’d yell:
Rock is deader than dead
Shock is all in your head
Your sex and your dope is all that were fed
So fuck all your protests and
Put them to bed…
God is in the TV
(Rock is dead, Marilyn Manson)

I found this piece very appropiate to make an exit everyone will remember
On your deathbed, you’ll whisper:
Never speak a word again
I will crawl away for good
(You know you’re right, Nirvana)

According to WMP this is what no one knows about me
Your deepest secret:
I really don’ mind what happens now and then
As long as you’ll be my friend at the end
(Kryptonite, 3 Doors Down)

It may seem cocky but in the middle of a sweaty monkey sex session I’ll try to convince my partner.
You Scream During Sex:
Loving is what I got
(What I got, Sublime)

This is an obvious answer, WMP didn’t need to use any psychic powers for this one
What’s your excuse for posting this:
Never made it as a wise man
I couldn’t cut it as a poor man stealing
Tired of living like a blind man
I’m sick of sight without a sense of feeling
And this is how you remind me
This is how you remind me
Of what I really am
(How you remind me, Nickelback)

¿no?
